China Railway Container Transport is joining Middle Corridor Multimodal, a joint venture established by the railway operators of Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan. The decision was made during an extraordinary general meeting of Middle Corridor Multimodal shareholders, held in Baku with the participation of all founding members.
The meeting addressed the strategy for developing the Middle Corridor, full digitalization of processes, an action plan for eliminating bottlenecks, and other key areas of cooperation.
As part of the agreement, a joint monitoring system for tracking the travel time of container trains along the route will be introduced. This innovation will help ensure schedule stability, enable rapid resolution of logistical issues, and enhance the overall efficiency of the transit corridor.
